ELEMENTARY EDUCATION

In the quest for the student’s comprehensive education, our approach in the area of Physical Education covers several significant aspects. Qualified and experienced teachers conduct this process with great dedication and responsibility, and are willing to face the constant challenges that are presented.

Sports trips and competitions:
Sports trips and competitions: We participate in the local Handball League organized by the Asociación Bahiense de Handball (ABH) .

• Local athletics tournaments and the Student Sports Association (ADE) tournament in the city of Mar del Plata
• Participation in the junior NBA
• Interscholastic events

Extracurricular workshops:
Organized activities at the end of the year that widely encourage motor development.

SECONDARY EDUCATION

With a weekly schedule of three modules, students intensify the practice of the previously mentioned sports and also the work of coordinating skills. Students become aware of body care (physical activity, heathy food) and the importance of continuous physical activity. Inside the Graduate profile, we look for the development of autonomous work skills.

Tournaments and competitions:
We participate in interscholastic tournaments of different sports at local and regional levels.

HANDBALL TEAMS: for many years, Del Solar School has trained students who are interested in high-level competition to be part of its teams. We compete at a federal level being part of the ABH as another club.

OVERNIGHT STAYS AND CAMPS
Activities that are in contact with nature contribute to the development of a balanced personality. Campers learn to WORK IN TEAMS, taking on responsibilities, solving problems and experimenting collaborative life. We revalue nature and the resources it provides us. Students from all levels at school have their annual experience of overnight stays and/or camps. We travel to different areas the region offers like Sierra and Villa Ventana, Monte Hermoso, Pehuen-Co, Río Colorado, etc.
